Used Porsche - Reap the Benefits

What I like about Porsche is that it is a company that goes from strength to strength over the years. If you look at new models as well as more dated, used vehicles, you can clearly see that they have embraced modern technologies, without sacrificing the original style and ethos that is so evident in older versions. Porsche cars, from any era, are certainly different to other makes of car in many ways. In the different models you can see the characteristics that make each vehicle specially tailored to the needs of the modern driver.
Biofuel blending is one of the clever, newer aspects of Porsche that I have really taken a shine to. Emissions standards are getting stricter as the years go by to ensure we are protecting our environment, and Porsche is one of the leading companies in pioneering new ways to be eco friendly, but without loosing any of the driving experiences that are so essential to cars like these.
The Biofuel blending system means that the fuel is made safer for the environment by mixing it more generously. Usually, this blend consists of about 10% ethanol, and in the Cayenne model, this shoot sup to a blend of 25%, which is phenomenal when you consider how much good it is doing the environment. At the same time, nothing is compromised as Porsches are still able to run efficiently and with a top rate performance on these safer fuels, as shown in the many victories seen by Porsche at the American Le Mans Series, when running on such blended biofuels. At this moment, Porsche is working on a flexible fuel vehicle which will be able to work efficiently on a blend of 85% ethanol.
During the last fifteen years at Porsche, C02 emissions have been lowered by a rate of a 1.7% reduction annually. This reduction is one of the largest that can be seen in the automotive industry. Porsche has been at the forefront of this eco-friendly ethos many years. Looking after the future and the environment, and having a responsible attitude are of the upmost important to this revolutionary company. Porsche has highlighted the importance of our eco-responsibility, and are setting an example that other car manufactures are sure to follow. The fact that they have been so ahead of the game on this matter, clearly shows that environmental issues and what they can do to help really are of importance to this company.
There are lots of different factors that can help to win the case for new or used Porsches. Another great thing about Porsches is that they are so lightweight. This helps to make the car efficient in many ways: reducing C02 and petrol consumption, aiding the quiet atmosphere inside the cabin, and making the car cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper to buy. Porsches are cars with style and class. More affordable than other cars of this calibre, a Porsche will be able to perform well while saving you money, and saving the environment. All these factors don’t come at a cost – there haven’t been any sacrifices made to enable the car to be produced so well, and all you can do is lie back and reap the benefits.
