Skoda Rapid, the new sedan from Skoda India has decided that it will come to fore on November 16th, 2011. If you do not buy that thought turn it the other way round-Skoda India has finally announced the launch date of Skoda Rapid in the middle of November, 2011. The new car Rapid which inherits the DNA from VW Vento will be on stage to unveil its lineaments. However, the Skoda Rapid price is likely to slip down slightly under Volkswagen Vento. Also the Skoda badge and slightly different fascia with Fabia looks are the factors that mark the distinction from sister Vento. Skoda India is likely to benefit substantially from the low production costs as Rapid shares the platform with Vento and thus most of the components are shared between Skoda and its parent company Volkswagen.Both petrol and diesel versions will be released with Skoda Rapid and this factor can boost up Skoda’s sale. That said all eyes are towards the launch, the countdown for which has begun and for which Skoda’s fingers are crossed.
